Jump Into Slow by MARK

I have review the blog that made by Mark. At first, when I look at the title, for me it seems like the name of a song, I don't know why :p. But I think it is an interesting title for a blog. I like the design of the blog because it is simple and the color is really nice, it feels fresh when I look at it. Another thing that I like is the picture that he use for all his article, espcially the picture that he use for "list 10 things you wonder about". On this article he uses the picture of President Bush and it looks interesting and funny. The content of this blog also makes the reader want to read more about the article, because sometimes he use some of his experience and it is very good to read. For example, the article that tells about his experience of shopping, it is very funny. Overall, I really like this blog and there is nothing that I don't like from this blog. I hope after finish this class, Mark can continue to write on his blog :)

100 years from now!

I think, 100 years from now the world will be very different. Every city will look very modern, there will be no more old buildings. Also, the technology will rule the world, so every one will use technology to control everything. Cars and other vehicle will not just on the road, but it will be on the air too, just like airplane. People will be wearing one cloth that can be change anytime that we want to, just think about what are you going to wear, and then in just 5 second your cloth is going to change to the cloth that you want to.

What is really important is that in 100 years from now, there will be no more war. People will live peacefully, everyone care for each other, so there will be no more poverty too. All the government in every country will treat people fairly. The world will become like a paradise..

I hope I could still be alive by that time, bu that is impossible.

10 things I remember in 2008

1. My friends surprised my on my birthday and I was very happy.
2. I passed the national exam! yeayy
3. I graduated from high school with good grades.
4. I had the best prom night ever!
5. I went to Hong Kong and Macao with my family.
6. I was so sad when I left my family and my friends to go to Hawaii.
7. I met new good friends in ELS.
8. I took a TOEFL test and didn't get a good score.
9. I went to the club for my first time.
10. I went to a really nice restaurant in Indonesia to celebrate my anniversary with my boyfriend.

BLACKOUT & TECHNOLOGY

Last Friday, one day after christmas day, Oahu island got blackout. It is caused by the lightening that crash the electricity. At that time, I was watching TV with my cousin and my aunty. I though that blackout was going to take only for 2 hours. I just hold a battery and lying down on the sofa. Because, it was getting late, I decided to go to sleep. It was really hard for me to sleep because the air conditioner cannot worked and I felt so hot. It didn't matter for me to not be able to watch TV or surfing the internet. But what I really hate is the air conditionar cannot working.

More and more people really rely on technologies. They think that they cannot live without technologies. Even though technology makes people's life become easier and more fun, in some situation (like blackout), it makes you cannot do anything because you always rely on technology. I think it is not good to depend on technology because sometimes it will makes people to become not creative.

So, lets try to not depend on technology!! :)

SNOW STORM

Las Vegas is having a snow storm in this winter time. It is the heaviest snow fall that happening in Las vegas in nearly three decades. Because of this, the airport is close and most of flights are being cancelled. That means no one can go to other city or country on these days. The National Weather Service measured that the snow in Las Vegas Airport is about 3 inches. Besides that, some highway are close too because they are covered by thick snow. One of the Las Vegas resident said that they have not had this amount of snow since 1979.

perfect gift

For me, gift is something that give to some one to show that we care about them. We usually give a gift on birthday, valentine, anniversary, christmas and many other special occasions. If I want to buy a present for someone, I usually find out what that person really want, so they will be very happy when they received the gift from me.

Christmas is coming, don't forget to buy a christmas present for your loved ones.
